The Economic Agenda of the Working Class
Introduce New Industries
The cannabis and hemp industries have vast untapped potential for Georgia farmers, patients, and taxpayers. As a natural alternative to opiods, we have the chance to regulate the market and provide a safe product for consumers. All with the added benefit of reducing the tax burden on our citizens.

I will also consider co-sponsoring legislation that legalizes and regulates sports betting in Georgia.
Eliminate Property Taxes for Homeowners
Georgia politicians need to focus on reducing the cost of living. By introducing new industries such as cannabis/hemp and sports betting, we can take the tax burden off of the working class and homeowners. I will work towards the complete elimination of property taxes for homeowners. We're done paying "rent" to the government in the form of property taxes.
Create a Housing Tax Incentive Program
Let's face it. Rental rates have gotten absurd in our district. I will introduce legislation to create a housing tax incentive program that will lower rental rates. This program will allow landlords to opt-in to a program that exempts their rental properties from property taxes if the property remains complaint with the rates for the area according to median income / property size.
Create A Consumer Utility Counsel
Georgia is falling behind in consumer protections. I will introduce legislation that re-establishes a consumer utility counsel. The purpose of this counsel is to advocate against excessive rate hikes. This isn't a radical idea. Legislation regarding this matter has passed unanimously in our State Senate but failed to go up for a vote in our House. 48 states have these protections for their citizens. I will work tirelessly to ensure Georgia makes 49.
